It is easy to understand, thorough, and concise. It is also a quick read, taking less than an hour to go through thoroughly.I only gave it four stars, from someone who is learning how to tune pianos, a few things would be helpful if this book was ever to be revised:1. Some of the pictures showing possible issues with used pianos (cracked bridges, rust) need to be clearer, larger, and preferably in color. Cracked bridges in particular, as well as stains, can be difficult to distinguish in this book as it is presented currently.2. The overall design of the book is dated. This is a minor concern, as some people like the vintage look, but others may avoid a book that looks like it was published 30 years ago.Overall, this is a worthwhile investment.
